Anima plugin spins endlessly in VSCode Figma extension

I’m evaluating Anima for my Figma-to-code workflow. I’d like to use the Anima plugin within the Figma VSCode extension, but I can’t get it to work. Here’s what I’m trying:

In the Figma extension, I select the item I want to work with, and select the Code tab, then I select Anima from the drop-down menu, and I pick React or HTML (doesn’t matter which), and where the code should appear I just get a spinner. Other plugins work, including Locofy and ‘Figma to Code’, which makes me think it’s an Anima problem not a Figma problem. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Figma extension, rebooting my PC, restarting VSCode, and making sure I was logged in to animaapp.com in my browser.

I’ve added a screenshot.

Anima support suggested this workaround, which worked:

Instead of clicking the “Code” tab, could you try instead to go into the “Plugins” tab instead (just besides the “Code” tab) and try to open Anima from there? The flow you’re trying to do has proven to show some issues before, due to some limitations on Figma’s side.
